Committed to Safety

COVID-19 is a highly infectious disease that’s spread through person-to-person contact. When you book your coronavirus testing appointment online at a Cape Regional Urgent Care clinic, you’ll be advised of safety protocols to follow for the protection of our patients and staff. Even as we respond to our community’s critical need for COVID-19 testing, our urgent care clinics continue to accept walk-in patients seeking care for the many other types of non-life-threatening conditions we treat.

What Type of Coronavirus Testing Do You Need?

Cape Regional Urgent Care is offering two types of COVID-19 tests:

Nasal Swab Sampling

This is the best option if you’re experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or you think you may have been recently exposed to someone with the virus because nasal swab testing is designed to identify an active coronavirus infection. COVID-19 symptoms can vary, and some people who are infected never experience any symptoms. However, asymptomatic patients can still spread the virus. For this reason, even if you’re not feeling sick, you may seek coronavirus testing to determine whether you are infected and find out if you need to quarantine yourself to avoid spreading the virus to others.

Antibody Serum Testing

This test consists of taking a small blood sample for analysis to determine whether you’ve already had a COVID-19 infection and recovered.

At Cape Regional Urgent Care, you can request one or both types of coronavirus testing. No matter which you receive, you’ll be in the expert hands of highly trained medical professionals.
